I love Tiffany Check!

I just found out that one of my favorite people in the whole world has a blog. It is so cute! Check it out! My Friend Tiffany She is so much fun, and it looks like she is pregnant! Congratulations Tiff! I love you!

Quick Story: When Tiffany and I were roommates at Rick's college her dad Lonnie came to visit. He was so much fun and so nice and totally spoiled us. I worked part time, but wasn't making a lot of money. I was behind on my bills and had gone a few months without paying my tithing. I started feeling really bad about it, and knew I was cheating the Lord:( I decided to take a leap of faith, catch up on my past due tithing and hope that all would work out with my expenses. After Lonnie left to go back home to Arizona I found an envelope with my name on it and $100 dollars in it. He had left the money for me. It might not seem like much money to some people, but at the time it felt like a million dollars. I couldn't believe that he could perceive my needs and bless me so. I still love him dearly. I learned two great lessons from from my experience with Lonnie.

1. Be Generous

2. Always Pay Your Tithing

Since then I have always paid my tithing. What a great Blessing. Thanks Lonnie & Tiff!

Happy Halloween!

Dylan made this cute magnet for me at preschool. Fun!

Weekend With Nana

What a surprise! How fun to have Nana surprise the kids and come for a visit. Here they are baking cookies. She and I even snuck away together and went running. Only three weeks before our Thanksgiving Day Race. I'm Nervous! Thanks for coming mom, it was a blast!

Double Cheeseburgers

This post is for all the people that have never seen my kids eat. Sometimes I am taken back in awe at how quickly and how much my kids can eat.

Say Cheese!

Seriously, I cannot even tell you how hard it is to get a decent picture of Dylan. He is such a cute kid, so you would think that it would be easy....NO, it is not. He has made a game out it. The second I am ready to take the picture he looks away, frowns, picks his nose, turns, moves, ducks, sneezes or some other type of distraction which makes him look, drowsy, dorky, grumpy, dirty, angry, snotty, and silly. I just can't get a picture of him.

So the other night Dylan loaded the dishwasher all by himself. Really, ALL by himself(well, a little verbal coaching from me). I was so impressed and proud. I thought I should take a picture of him next to his neatly loaded dishwasher. (See below)

Anyway, here are four of the 100 or so pictures I took.

He really knows how to get a rise out of his mom!

Dylan's First Day of Pre-School

It is about time! Finally, two days a week for a total of four hours, Dylan has something to do! I tell you, Dylan is hard to keep entertained. He was so excited to go to Lil' Spuds Campus today! He LET me style his hair, and he LET me brush his teeth. And by LET I mean didn't put up a HUGE fight. It was awesome. Here are a few pictures of Dylan on his first day of Preschool.

Kate's Big Confrontation

Okay, so I can't spell...please ignore it while watching this cute, funny interaction with Kate at Blastoff last week.

Green, Green Grass!!!

Remember the song "Red, Red Wine"? Well, I often find myself humming my own lyrics to the melody of that song. It goes something like this...

Green, Green Grass
Its up to you
All I can do, I've done
Grow Baby Grow...

Green, Green Grass you make me feel so fine...you keep me pumping all of the time...etc.

Now to understand why I love my grass so dearly you have to understand that I have had a serious dirt and weed pile for two years. In fact I have hated my dirt and weed pile so much, earlier this year I plowed over my weeks with my car. I never realized just how closely my neighbors watched what I do, but it just so happened that everyone on my block happened to see me in my car driving around my yard plowing down my dead 4 foot tall weeds. What makes this tragic is that they all then tattle-tailed on me to my husband at church. Scott had been out of town and was never suppose to know how the weeds "fell down". I got in a little bit of trouble. Anyway, we finally have grass. It is wonderful and I do sing to myself about my green grass because it is fabulous, I am no longer the white-trash yard on the street, and I appreciate the sacrifices and hard work it took for my man to buy me this luscious grass. (Thanks Scotty) Here are a few pictures of the grass being put in.

Now this picture is one dear to my heart. Please do not be offended!

Now if you only see that my Dylan has pulled his pants down in public (which I never taught him and do not think is okay)to urinate, you might not understand why his mother finds this endearing. But upon closer inspection if you look a little closer you will notice that Dylan has chosen to urinate on our neighbors yard, thus saving and securing the life and growing success of my dear green, green grass. (I'm sure threatening him with his life to stay off the grass until it had taken root also helped.)

What a Sweet Child
