My mom helping in the Orphanages in Ecuador
My mom recently traveled to Ecuador to help the Non Profit Organization OSSO in completing health evaluations on the children in orphanages there. These are pictures of my mom and Ashlee South on the equator. Hey mom, I think that you are pretty amazing and I'm so proud of you for putting your life on hold to do something so wonderful for others in the world. Thanks for being you!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!
Well, this is a blog to the three men in my life who are Father's.
Dad,
Happy Father's Day...You are sugar and spice and everything nice. I love you more than I could ever say, I admire you more than you could ever know, I miss you every minute and I'm so glad that you are the father and papa that you are. Thank you for loving my children as you loved me. They are better for having you in their lives.
Blake,
Happy Father's Day...You are my second father...my Father-in-law...and I love you. You are so much fun to be around and I appreciate you so much. Thank you for being the wonderful man that you are and for bringing my precious husband into this world. You are a super grandpa too.
Scott,
Well, Happy Father's Day...Let's just get it out there...without you I wouldn't be a mother and for that I am so grateful. You are the best Dad in the World and our kids are so lucky to have you. Thanks for always pulling more than your weight. Thanks for changing diapers, cleaning toilets, putting kids to bed, tucks and warmies, and for the example you are setting for our children. Thanks for always letting me get away and have a break. I don't know any other man in the world that does more to help his wife than you. You are truly great! I love you!
Erin

CoMITTed! Romney For President
I just read the book, 'A Mormom in the White House?: 10 Things Every American Should Know about Mitt Romney'. It was a great read. I have been impressed with Mitt Romney ever since I met him about 6 years ago. I have been friends with his daughter-in-law Jennifer since 11th grade. I don't remember all of the details but we were up at Mitt's Park City home watching a sporting event when he and Ann arrived. There were tons of Josh's friends there, the place was crowded and Mitt and Ann came right in and nestled themselves in tight between all of the people they knew and the ones that they didn't, and watched the rest of the game, laughing and treating everyone like they had been friends for years. He was kind and introduced himself to everyone.
This was before the Olympics, before The Governor, and before The Race For President. Just a great guy, not trying to impress anyone, kicking back and having fun.
Mitt had a powerful presence, the kind that makes you feel like you are in the company of greatness. Not arrogance, not pride, just a true sense of Greatness. The Media talks over and over again about how Mitt looks like a President. They mention his looks, and his hair. I'm here to tell you that he doesn't just look like he could be The President. There are a lot of good looking, attractive, successful men in the world and we wouldn't say that they all look like they could be the President. With Mitt Romney the Public and Media are confusing their feelings and calling it looks. Mitt Romney doesn't look like the President. Mitt Romney "feels" like the President.
My hope for our great country is that we as a people will open our eyes. That we will stop allowing ourselves to be mislead by men and women who claim to love our country but won't make the sacrifices necessary to protect it.
President Bush said "sometimes you have to sacrifice for freedom; sometimes it's important to serve something greater than yourself to secure freedom."
And in another address he boldly reminded all of us that "freedom is not this country's gift to the world; freedom is the Almighty's gift to every man and woman in this world. And as the greatest power on the face of the Earth, we have an obligation to help the spread of freedom."
Let us come together as a country and stop supporting evil speakers. Let's stop funding the politicians that are handicapping our great America.
Dwight Eisenhower in 1954, during the height of the Cold War, said: "Happily, our people, though blessed with more material goods than any people in history, have always reserved their first allegiance to the kingdom of the spirit, which is the true source of that freedom we value above all material things. ... So long as action and aspiration humbly and earnestly seek favor in the sight of the Almighty, there is no end to America's forward road; there is no obstacle on it she will not surmount in her march toward a lasting peace in a free and prosperous world."
Can we stop for a minute and listen. Listen to the spirit within. Start listening to that voice inside our head that is promising hope, echoing prosperity, ringing truth, and making sense.
What makes sense for 2008?
Mitt Romney.
The man that 'feels' like the President.
Mitt Romney...a man of faith, family, experience, passion, knowledge. A Man with a Plan.

I Miss Kari Morrison!
Well, I've been thinking a lot about friendship lately. I have really been blessed with some amazing female friends in my lifetime. I spoke to my old friend Kari today and I truly smiled for hours afterwards. The same thing happened when I saw Liz Baker last weekend. There is just something so special about the relationships that we form as friends. To my true friends out there...the one's that love me even though I am a silly dope...the ones that forgive...and look past my weaknesses, which are many...I love you!
