More Holes!

Do your kids go through pants as fast as mine do?

I hate sending them to school with holes in their pants but I REFUSE to buy them any more pairs of jeans before summer.

Dylan has been through about 13 pair this school year and kate is on her 5th.

Is this something I should just get use to?

So, don't judge me, but my kids are going to look pretty trashy for the next 2 months. Remember, I'm not buying any more pants!

Is it wrong that scrapped knees don't bother me half as bad as holey pants? (Bad mom!)

Dylan turned 6!

Dylan turned six in February and we had a blast. I have a million fun photos to post, but since I never get around to it I will post this cute one of Dylan and Kate.

Secret Service...

Do you ever get overly giddy when you do something nice for someone without them knowing...and you just fumble around, waiting in anticipation for them to see your Gift of Service?

Last night I headed over to Anytime Fitness (If you didn't know, Scott and I own two Anytime Fitness Centers, one in Blackfoot, ID and one in Shelley, ID). I told Scott that I was going to work out, but instead I packed up a load full of Garbage bags and got my weeding gloves and put on a coat and hat.

Anytime Fitness Blackfoot is located right next to a freeway exit, a grocery store, and the Super 8. Because of so much traffic, both on foot and in car, a LOT of trash accumulates.

Now that the snow has melted Scott has been complaining about what a mess it is and how junky the freeway exit makes our gym look. If you know Scott at all you know he is a man of action, but he really injured his ankle a few weeks ago playing basketball (ahh!) and hasn't been able to get around very well; thus, he can't really do the job himself right now.

So, last night I bagged about 20 bags of trash and leaves and filled about 3 business sized garbage bins worth of weeds and crap. It took me over two hours and today I can't even stand up straight my back hurts so badly (Who said weeding isn't exercise?).

The low point was when I was spotted by a few friends covered in dirt and garbage in the middle of the night. I was looking pretty mangy.

But inside I am so excited for when Scott notices. How fun is it to get to serve each other?

SO, GO AND DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE!

Birthday's just keep getting better and better.

Every Year that passes I become more and more grateful for my life. More and more grateful for the blessings in my life.

More and more excited to keep on living.

I love my sisters

I can't belive my baby brother is getting married to Jenna in about 7 weeks. I am so excited to have another sister. I had to wait 27 years to enjoy the blessing of sisters, but thanks to my marriage and the marriage of my brothers I have 5 almost 6 sister-in-laws. I love them all.

Sunday Kate

As the sacrament was being passed I leaned over to Kate and prompted her to be reverent and try to think about Jesus.

She leaned back over to me and said, “Mom, Jesus is talking to me in my head.”

I couldn’t help but giggle and replied, “Good. Listen”.
