February 12 of 12...

February 2010 (Friday)

1. Dylan had a fun Valentine's Party at school.
2. Made Paradise Bakery cookies. Kids loved them...Scott and I not such fans.
3. Valentine presents from Nana that I'm hiding until Sunday.
4. Heart Pancakes. Easy. Fun.
5. Good Mail Day. My gifts arrived from China. Can't wait to give them out!
6. Sawyer and his Balls. Don't touch them. Crying will ensue.
7. Opening Ceremonies. Vancouver. I cried when team USA came out. It was such a touching moment. That is, until the camera man zoomed out and their Ralph Lauren WHITE pants were revealed. Then I was just mad that they were wearing such dumb pants.
8. Sawyer was up for hours during the night and I played with him and loved it. Morning came and then I paid for it.
9. Kate made this valentine for Scott and me at preschool.
10. I spent most of the day organizing my Office. This is a present to Scott. He has been begging me.
11. Picture of Scott and Kate. Scott is playing in a 3 month tennis tournament every Friday night. It is doubles and he and Brian Dominated this Friday night.
12. Sickies at this house. BEWARE.

Baby Blanket...Poor Pink Blankie

Does this thing look familiar to anyone?

Are you gagging a little just looking at it?

Well my baby blanket now officially lies in the depths of the Bingham County dump.

Blanket, you were so good to me. I loved you. But I can no longer look at you. You gross me out. I've kept you by my pillow for twenty something years.
(Replacement after original yellow blanket that my mom threw out.)

I have out grown you.
I have three of my own little blankie loving kiddo's to snuggle, keep me warm, and comfort me.

Rest in Peace.

Anyone else out there still hanging onto their baby blanket?

Hairdo Saturday!!!

Judge me if you must, but today I colored Kate's hair. I mean $10,000.00 for hair school...I've got to use my talent sometime, right?

Well, Kate's hair was getting a little blah, so we weaved her and now...

She has a few more highlights. Just like her mom (and dad) she loves being a blonde!

She got pretty sassy afterwards and started posing. This girl has attitude!

January 12 of 12...

Alright, it isn't fancy, but for a first timer I'm learning. Here is my January 12 of 12. You are suppose to take 12 pictures on the 12th day of the month. I just caught on to this idea, so here are 12 pictures from January.

I didn't have much to choose from, and I am realizing that I don't have much of an artistic eye for photography. So, I shall start practicing.
If you are interested you can get the template here curtousy of AMY. Also, make sure to scroll down and check out her 12of12, she is awesome. Her pictures are all so beautiful.

I made this in Photoshop Elements 8, using Amy's template.  Let me know if you give it a try!!!
