Litl' Spuds Campus

Kate has the privilege of attending the greatest preschool on earth. Penny Phillips is the greatest. Kate loves every second of it and always brings home the sweetest things. I loved this project that she put together. And what a cute photo.

And here is one more sweet picture and project from the first day of school.

And I must say that I am pretty impressed with how well my scanner worked. I'm amazed at the detail. Does this mean I can just scan all the take home projects and then chuck them?

Date with Dylan

In July I got to take Dylan on a Date with me. We attended his best friends baptism. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday and we both had such a great time together. Dylan doesn't turn 8 for another year and a half. He asked a lot of questions and it was a good opportunity for him to feel the spirit and hear the talks about baptismal covenants and the amazing Holy Ghost.

I was really proud of Jaxon too. He is in my primary class and was prepared to be baptised. He is a great friend and example to Dylan.

And here is a picture of the missionary maps at the Young's house. It is fun to have cousin's on missions. Taryn in Thailand, Jordan in Amsterdam, and Morgan in France. Awesome.

Dylan frequently asks me about missionary service and what he will be doing. I love talking to him about preparing to be a full time missionary. I hope he learns to become a hard-working missionary like his dad. While I loved being a missionary, I think I fell short from reaching my potential as a missionary.

Thank Heavens for Eternal Progress.

Robert Family Reunion 2010

There are just not enough words for how much I love my Robert Family. I don't see them often enough, but I have so much fun when I do. I wish I would have taken more pictures. We met at Shayne and Mike Young's house and swam and ate. It was so good to see everyone. We all had a scare as we learned about Larry's Mountain Biking accident that day, but the Rest of the Tucker's still hung around and I said many prayers in my heart. Luckily, he is okay...well, alive and recovering.

It is so fun to see how all the cousin's are growing. My kids love them all so much and really missed Jordan this year. Good news...he will be home from his mission for next year. And Taryn too!

Summer Nights are GONE!

Seriously, is it possible to blink and totally miss summer? It feels like I didn't get to do any of the things that I wanted to do with the kids because we just ran out of time. I'm thinking that Summer and a 1st trimester just don't work. I was sick this time around and spent a lot of time laying on the couch.

Check this picture out. I mean is Sawyer the best or what?

Zoomed in...So cute!

These kids just love playing outside in the dark. I'm sure that the neighbors didn't love it.

It is really hard to get your kids to go to bed early for school once you trained them all summer to stay up late and sleep in.

Goodbye Summer. We love you. (tear, sniff, sob)
