LDS Kids Learn Scriptures

LDS Kids Learn Scriptures started when our 4-year old recited word for word the scripture that we had talked about at Family Home Evening the night before. It was impressive to say the least.

We have been amazed at how quickly our kids, even our 4-year old can remember and recite the short scriptures that we teach them at Family Home Evening each week. I believe that these printable's will help your family learn to love the scriptures as they read them everyday during the week. My hope is that your family will be able to build a reference of memorized scriptures that will stay with each one of you during your lifetime.

Some of these scriptures are actually just part of a scripture so that little minds can remember them.

All scriptures are taken from the King James version of the Bible, the Book Of Mormon, the Doctrine & Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

Wow!! Our family used to do better at memorizing scriptures, but I got a little discouraged trying to encourage the younger ones to keep up with the older ones in their memorization... so I quit altogether. I hated that I did that because it's SO IMPORTANT for our young children to have great words of wisdom from the scriptures imprinted upon their minds.

Just this morning I was devising a plan to try it again. I was trying to figure out a way to include the younger ones in the memorization of scriptures, and I "happened" to read your blog tonight! Thank you for such WONDERFULLY INSPIRED ideas! I'm excited to implement them into our family scripture study/devotional tomorrow morning. :-)

Rachel,

Let me know if these work for you of if you have any favorite scriptures I could make prints for!

Thank you for this. I am going to print these all on nice cardstock and "wallpaper" our kids' bathroom with them. I appreciate that you created and made them available for others!
