What do you feed your kids?

What are the main foods that you feed your kids?

I feel uninspired in the kitchen.
My kids are so picky and so boring.

Cereal
Crackers
String Cheese
Marsh mellows
Yogurt
Peanut Butter
Cheese
Tortilla's
Applesauce
Junk Food

Seriously it get's hard working with such a small list.

The older kids are getting better about food, but Sawyer is killing me.

That list is about all he will eat.

What do your kids love.
Help me out!

My kids love fresh fruit, turkey pepperoni and string cheese, crackers of any kind. Hmm... oddly enough... beans of any kind, pudding, jello and cottage cheese is a staple in this house. Hope this helps!

Funny you should post this, I am struggling with my kids right at this very moment. The only thing you did not mention that seems to be on my kids radar are bagels and eggs. Other than that it is slim pickins around here. Oh and noodles with butter, salt and pepper. I wish I could survive on that diet, I would be so slim. But all I am is flustered.

The weirdest thing is, my one year old loves spicy food. I mean spicy. It's weird. And all sorts of vegetables (snap peas, carrots, tomatoes, stuff like that). I think he likes all of the different colors. I'm kind of stuck in a rut too though, I end up giving him the same breakfast and lunch way to often.

My kids love quesadillas and salsa...or just quesadillas. On the stove or in the microwave...and the rest of your list. When I make dinner, that is what everyone eats. I don't make special meals for anyone to cater. We make them taste everything and have several bites of the main dish. In time, their taste buds should expand.

You forgot ice cream! And apples. Pretty much what my 6 yr old eats along with above. We love quesadillas too. The raw ones you have to cook are the BEST! I think if you give kids something to dip food in like ketchup or ranch they will eat more. Good Times! Oh...mac n cheese with frozen peas we love too.

Homemade pancakes, oatmeal, homemade pizza, mexican rice, saffron rice with chicken, white rice with chicken stir fry, salads (olive oil and vinegar dressing w/salt), yogurt, fresh fruits galore, steamed brocolli, baked potatoes. Those are our staples. Lasagna used to be a staple, but we wore it out :oO

Good luck! It's always a challenge around here keeping it interesting.. My 2 year old is pretty easy to feed.

My kids are super picky too. Two good healthy choices I have found are plain fresh strawberries and icy fruit smoothies (made with frozen fruit). Oh and one funny thing that all of my kids love is sushi. Don't ask me how they can turn their noises up at a taco, mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets, but eat a bunch of sushi?
