Kate starts dance class...

Well the day has come for Kate to start dancing. I was so proud of her. She is the youngest in her class and was aloud to start class even though she is two and all the other kids are turning 4 or 5. Of course I have waited and waited for this day because I love dancing so much! I sound like one of those crazy mom's that wants to live through their kids...well I do!

I cried about 4 times during her first class...no it wasn't pregnancy...I just was a proud mom, and a little jealous. I really wish I was the one in the class.

The good news is that Kate loved her class just as much as I did. She came home and kept saying..."My body is an Instrument."

Oh to be young again...oh, just to be able to lay flat on my back or my stomach...

Tomorrow is another dance class. I can't wait!

Does anyone else get jealous when their kids go to dance class?

Would you enroll in a parent class if it was offered?

I would love to take a dance class. I looked into Balliet class or creative dance for Maylie here and it's a little expensive. I am hoping once I get things rolling with Gold's Gym I can inroll Maylie is dance. I know I will be living through Maylie when it comes to dance.

That is too cute! Her hair looks darling too. I will admit that I get carried away with my boys and their sports camps. Call me a competitive Mom if you will. Next year Sasha will be old enough for all kinds of fun stuff. So Lookout:)

PS-That last comment was by Randy and queston:How did you take off or skip the part where you don't have to type in those rediculous letters before you publish on somebody's blog?

How awesome that she loves it! I feel the same way about sports and can't wait for Mya to start indoor soccer this winter and karate next summer. If she wanted to do dance, well...that would be a new one for me :)

Erin, I remember when you were little and I would see you at Shayne's for gymnastics or at the Ridge with Ellery, when I was waiting for Tennis lessons. Now you are all grown up and it's your little munchkin taking the dance lessons. She's adorable. You can see future national cheerleader champ all over her face. A true Robert!!! I was one of Shayne's gymnastic girls,in the older group, so you won't remember me. ..but fun to have found your blog, you have a sweet little family!

Kate, you freakin star! You look beautiful in your leotard but your hair ought to be just a tad louder. :) Tell your mom to get you a bow about twice the size of the one's you are wearing. :) By the way Er, I can totally see Scott being Elf for Halloween! I'm laughing just thinking about it. Maybe you can dress up as a pregnant lady or something. Larve you!

Does this mean YOU are organizing an adult dance class? For pregnant women? In our area? I'll join just to laugh at the pictures.

Yes & Yes! My one regret from you 20 years of dancing is that I only took 4 months of gymnastics in high school. So I started my daughter in dance for 1 month this summer. She loved it so I put her in gymnastics. She sure looks like she's having fun but tells me she hates it. Next month it's back to ballet and tap. I'm pretty bummed, she's excited!
